Two Norfolk Residents Face Drug and Weapons Charges After Early-Morning Raid in Delhi

DELHI, ON — Two Norfolk County residents are facing a lengthy list of charges after police executed a pre-dawn search warrant at a home on Imperial Street in Delhi, uncovering a cache of drugs, weapons, and stolen property.

The raid, which took place just before 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, was part of a drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand Norfolk OPP Street Crime Unit. The operation was supported by specialized teams including the West Region Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team, and Tactics and Rescue Unit.

Seized: Fentanyl, Cocaine, Meth, Weapons, and Stolen ATV

During the search, officers seized:

  • Suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine

  • Replica handguns and prohibited weapons

  • A significant quantity of Canadian currency

  • Drug trafficking paraphernalia

  • A stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) reported missing from another Norfolk location

Two suspects were arrested at the scene.

Charges Laid

A 46-year-old woman from Norfolk County has been charged with:

  • Multiple weapons offences

  • Several counts of possession of property obtained by crime

  • Drug trafficking charges

She is scheduled to appear in Simcoe court on April 22.

A 47-year-old Norfolk County man is facing:

  • Multiple drug trafficking and weapons charges

  • Possession of stolen property and proceeds of crime

  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm and ammunition

  • Two counts of driving while under suspension

The man was held in custody and appeared for a bail hearing in Simcoe on Monday, according to police.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police are encouraging anyone with information related to drug or weapons activity in the community to come forward.
