Brantford Police Service is actively searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, April 3.
Officers responded to reports of a disturbance at a residence on Charlotte Street around 4:25 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, the victim tragically died from his injuries shortly after.
Police have identified the suspect as Bradley George Saunders, 27, and have issued a warrant for his arrest on a charge of second-degree murder. Saunders is described as Indigenous, approximately 6’2” tall, weighing around 155 pounds, with long dark hair. No further details about his clothing or any vehicle he may be using are currently available.
Authorities have confirmed that the individuals involved knew each other, and the incident is not believed to have been random. A weapon was recovered at the scene.
Another man has been taken into custody in connection with the case. He faces multiple charges, including accessory after the fact to murder, possession of a dangerous weapon, and assault with a weapon.
