The Norfolk Home and Lifestyle Show, slated to be both informative and enjoyable, is gearing up for its upcoming edition.

Karen Matthews, the executive director of the Simcoe and District Chamber of Commerce, expressed the organizers’ excitement, stating, “When we started putting the program together, we envisioned a comprehensive showcase that Norfolk residents would truly appreciate. It’s been four years since we’ve had an event like this, and we aimed to create the ultimate home and lifestyle experience for the community.”

With over 80 vendors confirmed, along with prominent speakers, the event promises a diverse array of offerings.

Scheduled to take place from March 1st to 3rd at the CIBC Auditorium, located within the Norfolk County Fairgrounds, the event kicks off on Friday at 4 p.m. with “Norfolk Mixology 101,” featuring Pure Spirits, Cheers!, and Blueberry Hill Estates/Front Road Cellars.

The lineup includes various presentations, starting on Saturday at 11 a.m. with “Kayak Fishing” by Jason and Trevor Barnucz and Owen Brock. This will be followed by interior designer Shai DeLuca’s talks at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Sunday’s agenda includes Darren Heimbecker, the owner, founder, and designer of Whistling Gardens, speaking at 11 a.m., followed by Frank Ferragine, popularly known as Frankie Flowers from CityTV, at 1 p.m.

In addition to informative presentations, the show will feature numerous exhibits from trades and construction services, encompassing flooring, glass, roofing, and more. Businesses specializing in mobility equipment, pools, and spas will also be in attendance.

A notable addition to this year’s show is the “Young Entrepreneurs” section, developed in collaboration with MHN Lawyers. Matthews emphasized the importance of nurturing entrepreneurship within the community, stating, “We’re thrilled about this initiative as it provides young entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase their products and services.”

The Chamber of Commerce extends its gratitude to sponsors, including Aspira Retirement Living, Eising Garden Centre, Whistling Gardens, and Oldies 99.6, who have generously supported various aspects of the event.

Admission to the show is $5, with free entry for children and students.
